Oakland Black Pride is beyond excited to produce the Chill Zone for this year’s Oakland Pride Festival!
We’re honored to bring you a vibrant, family-friendly space that includes a Kid Zone, featuring a magical puppet show by Ms. Emily Butterfly, a children’s concert with Iwalani Music, and a special Read Aloud by the talented author Tiffany Golden.
But that’s not all—the Chill Zone will also feature a pop-up skating rink powered by the Black Cultural Zone and our dynamic Community Stage, where incredible talents like DJ Broadstrokes, DJ MK2, DJ Blackwoman, DN, Cardboard People, Themme, Mario B Productions Fashion Show and your Host, the one and only Sir Joq, will definitely sparkle!
